Supporting our schools for decades.
Citizens for Yelm Schools is a registered 501c4 nonprofit organization and remains focused on our primary goal: to pass the next EP&O levy requested by Yelm Community Schools (YCS). We are not affiliated with YCS and represent citizens in our community that want to help the educational system in Yelm.

Alumni of Yelm:
This program celebrates alumni pride and networking while near or far. We connect with a quality monthly newsletter that provides news, networking opportunities, and offers ways to give back to the Yelm community. A key goal is to connect alumni with opportunities to volunteer and give back and fund programs for parent groups and levy campaigns. Alumni of Yelm is preparing for an official launch in August, 2024.

Parents of Yelm:
This program wishes to connect parent groups from all nine schools to come together to align ideas and forces for student programs. Our goal is to use our platform to encourage more volunteers and to provide resources to our boosters to create an even stronger parent presence in our schools.
The Citizens’ Board
Our board consists of five unpaid citizen volunteers. All board members have previously served on nonprofit boards supporting our schools, and four have been President of one of our schools’ parent organizations.
Every board member currently has children that attend Yelm Community Schools.
